What to Expect
In your search for a canine rehabilitation facility, we believe you expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary rehabilitation and health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and rehabilitation care. Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our excellent service and a state of the art facility.
How to Get Started and What to Expect
First, you may have your veterinarian call us or contact us directly to set up an initial consultation or you may call our office yourself. A typical course of canine rehabilitation would include:
- An exam by one of our veterinarians. If you have any X-rays, labwork and surgical reports, please bring those with you to the consultation. Following a thorough assessment, X-rays, blood work, or other lab work (in addition to what is provided to us or if current X-rays and labwork are not available) may be required prior to developing a rehabilitation plan.
- A rehabilitation plan will be developed by one of our veterinarians including the number of visits per week required.
- Rehabilitation will generally include a minimum of six (6) visits followed by an assessment exam to determine if home therapy is appropriate or if additional visits are necessary.
- Home therapy education is the last step in the rehabilitation plan.
